Ok, i noticed that this site was on Digg and that there were A LOT of misconceptions about the website and how it came to be. First off, Bash.org sucks... but not their content. They're privately moderated, and not OpenSource, that's not cool. Kwotes is the complete opposite, and excels in more ways than one over Bash.org. It's free and OpenSource, publicly moderated, and 100 times more functional. This site uses Kwotes for those reasons. This database is basically the Bash.org database. Every quote on it (virtually) was taken from the bash.org website. A perl script was created that spiders the bash.org website and dumps all of their quotes into a Kwotes database friendly SQL file. So don't expect any "new" content here (Until people contribute it). You can always check out the official Kwotes.org website for original content.
Welcome to Kwotes, a chat quote database system with a twist. The quotes are publicly moderated, so it's up to you to maintain the quality. All quotes are accepted and if their ranking falls too low for too long, they are deleted. To better your kwote browsing experience, visit the search page.
This system has several advantages over existing systems. Here are a few:
